Via delle sorelle

Via delle Sorelle

The Via delle Sorelle is a 130-kilometer trail that connects Brescia and Bergamo and passes through over 30 municipalities. The route mostly runs through the hilly areas of the two provinces, allowing you to discover ancient paths, traditions, and local products. It is a journey of nature and culture that reveals a new face of the two cities and their provinces. In various sections, you can admire works of art installed in nature, created by artists inspired by the values of the journey, the uniqueness and beauty of the places, and the traditions of the people who live there. The artworks are permanent.

The loop trail from Bergamo extends for about 4400 meters and intersects the Via delle Sorelle in a wooded area along Colle dei Roccholi.

The loop trail from Brescia extends for about 4600 meters and intersects the Via delle Sorelle in the section of Via F. Maternini and Via Valle di Mompiano in an almost flat area with vast green spaces.

Thanks to the STAI project, two sections of the Via delle Sorelle, one in the municipality of Brescia in the Valle di Mompiano and the other in the municipality of Bergamo in the hills behind the Upper Town, have been made accessible and usable for people with disabilities.
