Val Taleggio is a small area surrounded by the green mountains of Bergamo; a corner of paradise at an altitude of 1,000 meters where time seems to have stopped. An unspoiled environment, immersed in the peace and tranquility that only small ancient villages can convey. Places of traditions and customs, one of the cradles of the ancient cheese-making tradition of Bergamo. Val Taleggio has glimpses from another era, preserved thanks to the presence of little-traveled roads.
Along one of these paths, on the trail that connects the locality of Sottochiesa and the Sanctuary of Salzana in the municipality of Taleggio (BG), interventions have been carried out to enhance the offer of barrier-free itineraries dedicated to tourists with disabilities. From resurfacing the path to modifying its geometry, installing directional signage, and setting up dedicated rest points, these initiatives open the doors of Val Taleggio to everyone.
